Verbdate is Dating 2.0.

The site is written initially using PHP 4. Later I introduced some components written with PHP 5.

Extensively through out the site is the use of AJAX techniques. Also, I have an API system. For example the grid of photos is the result of XML and the API.

We also do a bit of mash-up. For example, the google map for geo-location. We also mash-up flickr, YouTube, and Skype.

The browse window is pretty straight forward. You can also search by tag. Both browse and tag searches have their own rss feeds. The rss feed allows you to see whenever someone who matches your criteria logs into the site.

Other features include integration with Facebook with two applications. One application, Verbdate, allows you to comment and bookmark your favorite profiles. Another application is Party with Me!
